By using Mohur you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, and the first one is the one that matters most.

A verification is an opinion, not an appraisal. When collectors on Mohur say a coin is genuine, or grade it, they are giving an informed opinion. They are not a grading service, they are not certifying anything, and neither are we. Do not buy, sell, insure or value a coin on the strength of what this app says about it. For that you need a professional grading service and a signed opinion you can hold somebody to.

Your account

You need a Google account to sign in, and you must be old enough to hold one where you live. Mohur is not for children under 13.
One account per person. The verification system weighs accounts against each other, so a second account is a thumb on the scale.
You are responsible for what happens under your account.

What you post

Your photographs and your writing stay yours. You give us permission to store them and to show them inside the app to the people your privacy settings allow — nothing more.
Post only photographs you took or have the right to use. Do not upload a dealer's or a museum's images as your own.
Do not post anything unlawful, abusive, deceptive or off-topic, and do not accuse a named seller of fraud without photographic evidence.
Do not misrepresent a coin — a claimed grade materially above what the community reaches is flagged, and deliberate over-grading is a form of deception.

Verification and XP

Vote honestly on other people's coins. Votes are weighted by your accuracy in that period, and the weights are published in the app.
Do not vote on your own coins, arrange votes with other collectors, or vote to punish somebody.
XP, levels and leaderboard position are part of the product, not property. They have no cash value and can be recalculated or corrected.

Moderation

Moderators can remove messages, flag coins and suspend accounts that break these terms. A suspended account can still read and still speak, but its votes carry no weight and stop affecting consensus. We can close an account that repeatedly or seriously breaks these terms.

The catalogue

The reference catalogue, the Knowledge Base and the photographs in them are provided for study. Entries the app has not fully verified say so on the entry itself. Weights, diameters and dates should be checked against a standard reference before you rely on them for anything that matters.

Payments

Anything you buy is covered by the payments and refunds page, which forms part of these terms.

Availability, and no warranty

Mohur is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that the app or the catalogue is free of errors, or that anything a collector tells you about your coin is correct. Keep your own records of anything you would be sorry to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Devian Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a decision you made on the strength of an opinion given in the app — including a purchase, a sale, or a valuation. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending it

You can stop using Mohur at any time and delete your account from inside the app. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, and material changes will be announced in the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
