MohurPayments & refunds

Nothing in Mohur is charged for today. The app is free, the museum and the Knowledge Base are not behind a paywall, and no payment is currently taken from anybody. This page describes how purchases will work when they are switched on, so that it says so before you are ever asked for money rather than after.
What will be purchasable
- Removing ads — a one-time purchase. Not a subscription. Once bought it applies to your account on every device you sign in on. Ads are how a free app pays for itself; this is the way to cover your share instead.
- Donations. Optional, of any amount, and they buy nothing — they pay for the work. A donation gives you no feature, no badge and no standing that a collector who has not donated does not have.
Nothing that affects the collection, the catalogue, verification or your XP will ever be sold. A leaderboard you can buy your way up is not a leaderboard.
How a purchase is made
Through Google Play on Android and the App Store on iOS. Devian Labs never sees or stores your card details — the store handles the payment, tells us it happened, and we unlock the feature on your account.
Refunds
Because the store takes the payment, the store also handles refunds, and their policy is the one that applies:
- Google Play — request a refund through your Play order history, or Google's refund process, within their stated window.
- App Store — request a refund through Apple's "Report a Problem" page.
If the store declines and you believe you have been charged for something that did not work, write to support@devianlabs.com with your order number and we will look at it. We would rather refund an unhappy collector than argue with one.
Donations are not refundable once made, except where the law requires otherwise.
Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in the app in your local currency where the store supports it, and include any tax the store collects on our behalf. Prices can change; a change never affects something you have already bought.
Restoring a purchase
The ad-free purchase is recorded against your Mohur account, so signing in on a new device restores it. If it does not appear, sign out and back in, and write to us if it still does not.
